Hi everybody,
I was tagged by the lovely Juliana Alexis to do the Cramm Award. Everybody should go check out her blog 🙂
The Cramm award was created by theCramm who delivers the daily scoop on what’s what’s new to our generation! The rules for this award are:
-Include a little bit about who created this award (with a link) and mention the person the who nominated you
-Share 3 things that motivate you to blog and share 3 people that motivate you to blog as well
-Share one thing you hope to do that will improve the world
-Answer your challenge question
-Nominate bloggers and give them a challenge question
3 things and 3 people that motivate me to blog
So, some of you may have read my previous Cramm Awards post (if not you can check it out here) where I tell you what and who motivates me. So I’ve technically already answered that question, but I also want to add in somebody else who motivates me: my grandfather. I won’t lie, I haven’t told him I have a blog and even if I did he probably wouldn’t really get it, but I know he would still be 100% supportive no matter what. What I love most is, aside from being his favourite grand-daughter, he is always so motivating and encouraging and he honestly believes in me.
One thing I hope to do that will improve the world
I hope that through my blog, and just in general, I am able to show people that Islam is a really peaceful religion. I just saw on the news that since the London Bridge bombings hate crimes has increased by 40%. It is not a very nice time to be a Muslim living in the UK, but it is important to show that the crazy twisted people who do these attacks have twisted Islam and completely changed it. They have a warped view on Islam and life in general, which leads them to committing awful, awful crimes.
Julaina’s question
If you were given a chance to be someone else for 2 days, who would you be? Why’d you choose to be that person? What would you do inside those 2 days?
I would probably choose to be Huda Khattan (Huda Beauty). I think it would be so cool to just see what life is like for a famous makeup artist, and I think it would be really inspiring to see all her fans and see the positive influence she has had on so many people. Also, her makeup collection is amazing. During the two days I’d probably just try out all her makeup!
For this tag I nominate: Endless Thoughts, Words can’t fathom, Quirk it and Sara’s Diary 🙂
My question: If you could make a 60 second speech to the whole world, what would you say and why?
I hope you enjoyed reading, and I hope you have a great day!
Stay fresh,
Minty xo

Congratulations 🎊 🎉 on this award! I do hope people understand that Islam is not a bad religion rather it is the people who are making it. A whole religion cannot be bad, just a few bad people in the circle make it seem like everyone is bad.

It’s good that you’re reaching out to our non-Muslim friends and showing them that we are all human beings. Can’t say it’s nice living in the US as a Muslim either but hey I’m trying my best. 🙂

Yeah I think it’s super important to show that, and it must be really hard for you being in the US rn 😦

Yeah. Although all hope is not lost. If anyone pays attention to the Michigan governor race (Michigan is a state in the US), there’s a Muslim running. 🙂
